Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your use of Fish Meat & More (the "Service"), an online marketplace connecting UK customers with local fresh-food van sellers and market traders. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Fish Meat & More provides a platform for independent sellers ("Sellers") to list fresh fish, meat, poultry, seafood and related goods for sale to customers ("Customers"). Fish Meat & More is the merchant of record for payment processing but is not the producer or supplier of the goods.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and resident within our delivery area (currently Wiltshire, Hampshire, Berkshire and Dorset) to place orders.
3. Orders & Pricing
- All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- An order is a binding offer; acceptance occurs when a Seller confirms it.
- We reserve the right to cancel orders due to stock, pricing errors or delivery limitations.
4. Payment
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Cash-on-delivery may be offered where supported. By submitting a payment you authorise the charge for the order total including any delivery fees.
5. Cancellations
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, perishable food goods are exempt from the 14-day right to cancel once dispatched. You may cancel a paid order before dispatch for a full refund.
6. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under English law. Subject to this, Fish Meat & More's aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the affected order.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
